Le Polyar’trottons à Toulouse

Plus de 500 personnes sont venues courir ou marcher au parc du Ritouret à Blagnac le 28 mars pour faire avancer la Recherche contre la polyarthrite rhumatoïde. Leur participation a permis de collecter 3526 euros.

Cette somme correspond au nombre de tours que les participants ont effectué. Le principe de l’opération : 1 tour de marche, c’est 1 euro reversé à la Fondation ARTHRITIS, pour lui permettre d’intensifier la recherche contre les rhumatismes inflammatoires chroniques.

Il n’y a pas d’âge pour venir et toute la famille peut courir pour la bonne cause. Il faut réaliser un circuit d’un kilomètre environ autour d’un parcours forestier de 9 heures à 13 heures le week-end. Cette première édition à Toulouse a eu lieu à l’initiative de la délégation Toulousaine de l’Association Nationale de Défense contre l’Arthrite Rhumatoïde (ANDAR). L’événement s’inscrit dans sa volonté d’apporter un soutien aux malades et de leur permettre de mieux vivre leur handicap au quotidien. L’objectif 2010 est de récolter 15 000 euros en trois Polyar’trottons. Prochains rendez-vous le 24 avril à Besançon et le 19 septembre à Paris.

The Polyar’trottons in Toulouse

Over 500 people came to run or walk in the park of Ritouret in Blagnac on March 28 to advance the search against rheumatoid arthritis. Their participation has raised 3526 euros.

This sum corresponds to the number of laps that participants made. The principle of operation : 1 lap walk is 1 euro donated to the ARTHRITIS Foundation, to enable it to intensify research against chronic inflammatory rheumatism.

There is no age to come and the whole family can race for a good cause. Participants are invited to make a circuit of about one km around a forest trail from 9 am to 1 pm on weekends. This first edition was held in Toulouse in the initiative of the Delegation of the National Association of Protection against Rheumatoid Arthritis (ANDAR). The event is part of its commitment to provide support to patients and enable them to better live their disability in everyday life. The 2010 harvest is 15 000 euros in three Polyar'trottons. Upcoming events on April 24 in Besancon and on September 19 in Paris.
