Interview de Christophe Lefranc

Le numéro 2 de la Bioracing Series 2009 sera de retour dans le championnat cette saison. L’objectif du pilote : monter sur la première marche du podium.

Worldsports Events : Comment s’annonce la BRS 2010 pour vous?
Christophe Lefranc : Cette année, je veux gagner la compétition. En 2009, j’ai connu des soucis techniques : des problèmes de pneus, l’accélérateur bloqué ou encore l’échappement cassé. J’ai été contraint d’abandonner trois fois et en plus, j’ai loupé la course de Nogaro. Les autres épreuves, j’ai obtenu de bons résultats et j’ai fait beaucoup de pôle positions. Sur le circuit, c’était très serré avec Morgan Moullin Traffort.

Worldsports Events : En 2009, c’est Morgan Moullin Traffort qui a été sacré Champion de France Pilote. A votre avis, pourquoi a t’il dominé la saison ?
Christophe Lefranc : Morgan a beaucoup d’expérience, il a beaucoup roulé. C’est ce qui me manque. Pour la BRS 2009, j’ai fait une seule séance d’essai.
Worldsports Events : Qui sont vos autres principaux concurrents ?
Christophe Lefranc : Aurélien Mathelin et Lionel Mazars qui ont tous les deux réalisé de belles performances. Sinon, je ne sais pas qui il y aura d’autre.
Worldsports Events : Qu’est ce qui vous plaît dans la Biroacing Series ?
Christophe Lefranc : J’ai participé à deux courses en 2008 et à toute la saison en 2009. La voiture est puissante, légère et magnifique. Je suis monté à 268 km/h avec. En 2010, le moteur va évoluer, elle devrait donc pouvoir rouler encore plus vite.

The number 2 of the Bioracing Series 2009 will be back in the league this season. The objective of the pilot : mount the top step of the podium.

Worldsports Events : How looks BRS 2010 for you?
Christophe Lefranc : This year I want to win the competition. In 2009, I experienced technical problems : problems of tires, the throttle stuck or broken exhaust. I was forced to abandon three times more, I missed the race in Nogaro. Other tests, I achieved good results and I did a lot of pole positions. On the circuit, it was very tight with Morgan Moullin Traffort.

Worldsports Events: In 2009, Morgan Moullin Traffort was crowned Champion of France Pilot. In your opinion, why he dominated the season ?
Christophe Lefranc : Morgan has extensive experience, he's been around. This is what I miss. For BRS 2009, I only made one test session.
Worldsports Events : Who are your other main competitors?
Christophe Lefranc : Aurélien Mathelin and Lionel Mazars who have both performed well. Otherwise, I do not know who else will be pilot. We'll see at the trial session.
Worldsports Events : What do you like about the Biroacing Series?
Christophe Lefranc : I participated in two races in 2008 and the entire season in 2009. The car is powerful, light and beautiful. I went up to 268 km / h. In 2010, the engine will change, it should be able to run even faster.
