La commercialisation serait prévue pour 2015 et le développement pourrait être mené conjointement avec Tesla dont Toyota est devenu actionnaire. Côté technique, la puissance devrait être supérieure à 500 chevaux et le véhicule pourrait passer de 0 à 100 km/h en environ 4 secondes. Le conducteur pourra choisir entre un mode sportif, confort ou super sport.
